Ramair is a family owned company based in Hangar 31 at the Mildura Airport, established in 1988 by Andrew and Susan Mason.
Ramair is committed to a safe and genuine approach to all aspects of its operations.
With over 40 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Andrew has over 26,000 hours flying experience in all types of aircraft from Gliders to turbine helicopters, Andrew has been involved in the aerial agricultural industry since before learning to fly and is still actively flying in this role.
As head of operations of RAMAIR , Andrew oversees all flying training and also carries out all flight tests for our students.

Nick has ben around aviation all his life and has grown up with aircraft. He started flying at the Sunraysia Gliding Club in Mildura a 13 years old and went solo at 15 on the day he was legally allowed.
Nick did his Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship with Field Air in Ballarat, gaining his Commercial Pilots Licence at the same time.
Nick is a keen Aerobatic pilot and can often be seen in the Mildura skies in his Pitts Special honing his skills.
He also an accredited Fire Bombing pilot and spends his summers flying for various Government Agencies helping with Bush Fire control.
Jordan is a valued member of our team who has been with us for some 8 years and is responsible for the majority of our Multi Engine IFR Charter flying. Along with now being our RA Aus CFI.
In this role Jordan has taken our customers to many and varied places throughout Australia, from Birdsville to Mascot and all places in between.
As our senior instructor he is keen to pass on the knowledge he has gained to all of our flying training students, he is also able to carry out AFR’s.
Over the summer fire season Jordan flies our AeroCommander 500 as an Air Attack platform for the local Mallee firefighting team.
Jordan has gained his RAA Instructor Rating recently and is now a able to train pilots under the RAA system.
Jess has worked with the company since 2020, he grew up in Mildura gaining his PPL with Ramair before completing his Commercial license with TVSA. Jess holds an Instrument rating and has completed his RAAus Instructor’s rating with Ramair.
Jess is involved with charter work, scenic flights to Mungo and around Mildura, aerial surveillance and RAAus flying training.
Dan joined the company in September 2022 after completing his training at RMIT Bendigo. He holds a Commercial Pilot rating, aerobatic and multi engine endorsement as well as being a Senior RAAus Flying Instructor.
Dan’s role involves charter work, scenic flights, aerial surveillance and flying instructing.
