Ramair is a family owned company based at the Wentworth Aerodrome, established in 1988 by Andrew and Susan Mason.

Director
Andrew Mason
Director/Chief Pilot/Head of Operations
With over 40 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Andrew has over 26,000 hours flying experience in all types of aircraft from gliders to turbine helicopters.
Andrew has been involved in the aerial agricultural industry since before learning to fly and is still actively flying in this role.
As the head of operations for Ramair, Andrew oversees our CASA flying training and also carries out all flight tests for our students.
These include:
- RAAus Pilot Certificate
- RPL, PPL
- Night VFR
- Low Level Ratings
- Agricultural Ratings Day and Night
- Tail Wheel Endorsements
- Aerobatic Endorsements
- As well as RAA Instructor Training and Testing
Senior Pilot
Jordan Mattiacci
Charter Pilot/Grade 1 Instructor/Chief Flying Instructor RAAus
Jordan is a valued member of our team who has been with us for some 9 years. Jordan is responsible for the majority of our Multi Engine IFR Charter flying, along with also being our RAAus Chief Flying Instructor.
In this role Jordan has taken our customers to many and varied places throughout Australia.
As a CASA Grade 1 Flying Instructor, Jordan is keen to pass on the knowledge he has gained to all of our flying training students. Jordan is able to conduct aircraft flight reviews and carryout both training and the issue of design feature endorsements.
Over the summer fire season, Jordan flies our Aero Commander 500 as an Air Attack platform throughout the Mallee.
Pilot
Toby Coulter
Commercial Pilot/Grade 3 Instructor/Junior RAAus Instructor
Toby joined the Ramair team in February 2026. He grew up in Adelaide and completed his flying training at Parafield. He holds a Commercial Pilot Licence and completed his Grade 3 General Aviation Instructor as well as a Junior RAAus Instructor with Ramair.
Toby supports flying training and aerial survey operations. He also flies the Cessna 210 for charter services and over the fire season for surveillance work.
Outside of flying, Toby enjoys snow skiing and outdoor activities.

Nick Mason
LAME
Nick has ben around aviation all his life and has grown up with aircraft. He started flying at the Sunraysia Gliding Club in Mildura as a 13 years old and went solo at 15 on the day he was legally allowed.
Nick completed his Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship with Field Air in Ballarat, and gained his Commercial Pilots Licence at the same time. Nick is now the Chief Engineer for Ramair Aircraft Maintenance.
Nick is also an accredited Firebombing pilot and spends his summers flying for various Government Agencies helping with Bush Fire control.
